I’m not your typical CFO. With over 28 years of financial leadership across businesses of all sizes— from ambitious start-ups to global enterprises—I bring a depth of experience that covers the full spectrum of business challenges and opportunities. But what really sets me apart is my firsthand knowledge of the entrepreneurial journey. Having successfully run three businesses myself, I understand the unique pressures, priorities, and passions that come with being at the helm.

As the founder of The Pocket FD, my mission is to deliver tailored, actionable financial strategies to online retailers and ambitious business owners who want real, measurable results.

When it comes to growing businesses, I've been around the block (many times!)

In my 28+ years in business I've worked with hundreds of clients and have achieved some wonderful milestones:

  • I have been fortunate to work with some of the biggest and best organisations in the world, in industries ranging from retail to manufacturing, tech and hospitality (to name but a few).

  • I have helped to grow several multi-million pound businesses, most notably in the online retail space, including UK internet card giant Moonpig.com where, as CFO, we grew revenues from £1m - £45m and garnering several Sunday Times Fast Track Awards in the process, before successfully selling the business for a 9 figure sum.

  • I have successfully run three businesses of my own so I actually know what it’s like to run your own business and the unique challenges that brings.

  • I’ve made a career out of explaining business finance in a way that anyone can understand, regardless of their level of financial knowledge, and helping them use that knowledge to drive their business forward.
